Join us at The Clubhouse — our intimate event space on Waverly Place in San Francisco's Chinatown — for Mahjong with Kim: Learn & Play! This fun, hands-on two-hour session teaches Hong Kong style Mahjong from scratch, perfect for absolute beginners. You'll get a quick overview of the rules, then jump straight into playing in a relaxed, social setting with personalized guidance throughout. Sessions are intentionally small — just 4 participants — so whether you're coming solo or with friends, you'll leave knowing how to play. *Please note: The Clubhouse is accessible by 3 flights of stairs. Mahjong on waverly

Celebrate the Chinatown Night Market with a mahjong block party on historic Waverly Place — the iconic street where lanterns will glow above and friends are all around. Free, just drop in and play. All levels welcome, instructors will be available. Waverly Place (between Washington and Clay) Gather, play, and taste. This is community. This is Chinatown. iCafe will be open and serving milk teas and coffee for purchase. ​We are offering 3 tables to reserve for the evening if you would like to have a dedicated table for you and your friends.​ Proceeds will support the artists and volunteers.

Droo The Baker is back at OnWaverly, this time with a new friend, Camonn Coffee! For this special Father’s Day pop-up, Droo is bringing a menu that is especially sentimental to him. Alongside the usual favorites, including Pâté Chaud, Pork Floss Croissants, and Vietnamese Honeycomb Cake, 4-inch Father’s Day cakes will also be available for preorder through Hotplate and for walk-up purchases.

WORKSHOP: Advanced Beginner Sewing: Elastic Waist Culottes with Jamie Lau Designs

This 3.5-hour class is for advanced beginners in machine sewing. Students should know how to thread a machine, wind a bobbin, and backstitch. You’ll walk away with handmade elastic waist culottes. Students will receive a supply list before the start of class. Sewing machines and ironing equipment are provided in the clubhouse. You are also welcome to bring your own machine (just let the instructor know ahead of time). This session is limited to just 4 participants, so you can enjoy personalized guidance.
