Evil Mizu (also known as Michelle) is a San Francisco–based, second-generation Chinese American artist who's not even THAT evil. “Evil Mizu” was a nickname lovingly given by her dad when she was little, and it just stuck. She specializes in digital illustrations, posters, logos, and merch design, drawing on vintage cartoon styles, everyday silliness, and the Bay Area for inspiration.
Her work aims to highlight the spirit and lore of daily life in the city (i.e your bus commute, your favorite park, or the ever-present fog) and to promote sustainable ways to live and care for it. She also loves to work with organizations that align with that idea and make the city a better place to live!
