A collection of comforts ‘家’ HOME. A representation of the artist's mixed heritage, of being Asian American, and a love song to the Bay Area where the artist grew up.
Inspired by Ochazuke, a Japanese dish made of tea and rice. Made with:
Freshwater & mother of pearl
Glass beads
Hematite beads
Stainless steel findings
Club Chazu was created by Leean Pan, a Chinese and Japanese jewelry designer based in the Bay Area, as a way to share their mixed heritage in the form of handmade jewelry. Their designs blend traditional and modern aesthetics of Asian cultures across the diaspora to explore the nuances of shared experiences between them. Each collection is meant to tell a story that bridges generations. Club Chazu aims to be a pioneer in the emerging generation of Asian American pride.
