Risograph photo zine by BearBear "I like capturing strangers, candidly preoccupied by the lives they are leading. Perhaps this reminds me to stay present." — Josh Li
Hong Kong: Postcards from Home is a zine featuring a collection of photographs captured by intergenerational natives and visitors alike. The zine celebrates a range of HK-specific scenes: familial interiors, manifestations of political unrest, and comforts from cha chaan tengs, etc. spanning 2016–2025.
Featuring photographs by Sung-chi Chu, Josh Li, Diddy Lam and BearBear's own Ben & Diana, this photo zine is an ode to the fragrant harbor so many call home.

BearBear launched as a self-publishing Risograph studio in 2019 by two artists who desired to see their work on bookshelves on their own terms. Inspired by DIY zine culture and gig-poster screen prints, BearBear attends to the intricate details of book design with a wabi-sabi ethos. BearBear’s posters, prints, and art books act as a wholesome yet radical antidote to homogenous mass-produced volumes. The studio aspires to deliver contemporary ideas of selfhood + beauty, with a retro aesthetic, to the creative class’s bookshelves and imaginations.
