A three-color risograph print of my favorite Taiwanese desserts, which are always "not too sweet." Sweet treats include: aiyu jelly, mango snow ice, peanut ice cream roll, hakka mochi, shaved ice, and mung bean soup.
11" x 17".
Hand printed at Tiny Splendor in Berkeley, CA on ivory vellum bristol paper, 145 gsm in yellow, fluorescent pink, and blue.
Risograph printing is a digital screen printing technique, so prints may exhibit slight registration differences and roller marks, making each print unique.
Print will be packaged in a cello sleeve with a chipboard backing.
Felicia Liang's work is inspired by the cultures and communities she’s around, as well as her own inner musings. She loves using color, experimenting with different mediums, and playing with a wide range of styles – from simple line drawings to maximalist compositions.
She began drawing as a way to tell stories, with a focus on her Taiwanese American upbringing and Chinatowns in New York and California. She creates to explore her place in the world and illustrate both the beauty and weirdness of everyday life.
